Year 7 Assessments
Year 7 students have been undertaking CATs tests this week.  These tests give an indication of a students ability levels and can be used to identify students requiring further support. They are not a test that can be prepared for in advance.

Head Of School Interviews
Over the last two days, interviews have been held at the school to appoint a new Head of School for Driffield School and Sixth Form.  The school received some excellent applications, and candidates selected for interview were of a very high standard.

 

A number of governors, staff and students and a representative from the Local Authority have been involved in the selection process and were very impressed with the quality of candidates.  After two days of extensive assessments and interviews we can confirm that the preferred candidate is Diane Pickering.    Find out more
Bus Incident - Route 437 - Tuesday13 Sept 2016

The Local Authority continues its investigation into the route 437 bus incident that occurred on Tuesday 13 September.

Driffield School has offered counselling support to those students affected.
