2023 Year 11 (KS4) Exam Results
- The school’s Progress 8 score is -0.12
- The school’s Attainment 8 score is 43.7
- 64% of students achieved at least a standard pass in both English and maths and 38% achieved a strong pass (grade 5 or above) in both
- The percentage of students achieving at least a grade 4 is above the national average in all core subjects (English, maths and science) with three quarters of students achieving this in maths compared to three fifths nationally.
- Two thirds of students gained a standard pass in either geography or history
- Our music and drama departments both saw over a quarter of students achieving the highest grades of 7, 8 or 9 and in art and photography, nearly 9 out of 10 students achieved a standard pass, well above the national average
- The percentage of pupils entered for the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is 46%
- The percentage of pupils who achieved a strong pass in the EBacc is 9% and 18% achieved a standard pass
- The percentage of pupils entered for separate sciences (biology, chemistry and physics) is 25%
- The EBacc average point score is 3.92

- 220 students completed Year 11 in 2022/23
- 41% of students progressed onto Driffield School Sixth Form
- 52% of students progressed into Further Education, colleges or other Sixth Forms
- 5% of students progressed into an apprenticeship
- 1% of students progressed into employment or a re-engagement programme
2023 Year 13 (KS5) Exam Results
- 16% A*-A grades
- 46% A*-B grades
- 74% A*-C grades
- Average grade C+
- Progress well above national average in a diverse range of subjects including: chemistry, criminology, English language, history, film studies, maths, sociology
- Over half of biology, chemistry, film studies, maths, politics and sociology grades were B or above
- The pass rate at A level is 99%
2023 Year 13 (KS5) Student Destinations
- 97% of students achieved their choice of University, with 91% of students achieving their first choice (National average = 79%)
- 31% of students have achieved a place at a Russell Group University (National average = 12%)
- 100% of offer holders achieved entry into medicine and veterinary medicine
- 75% of students chose to progress on to University
- 9% of students chose to progress on to an apprenticeship
- 8% of students chose to progress into employment
- 4% of students chose to pursue a gap year students
- 3% of students chose to return to complete Year 14
- 1% of students chose to enter further education
