2022 Year 11 (KS4) Exam Results
- Our Basics measures continue to improve year on year, with 71% of students achieving at least a standard pass in both English and maths and 47% achieving a strong pass (grade 5 or above) in both
- The percentage of students achieving at least a grade 4 is above the national average in all core subjects (English, maths and science)
- Over a quarter of students sitting separate sciences, French, history, art, business, PE and music achieved grades 7-9
- The school’s Progress 8 score is -0.26
- The school’s Attainment 8 score is 46.5
- The percentage of pupils entered for the English Baccalaureate (EBacc) is 19%
- The percentage of pupils who achieved a strong pass in the EBacc is 12% and 14% achieved a standard pass
- The EBacc average point score is 4.04

- 189 students completed Year 11 in 2021/22
- 51% of students progressed onto Driffield School Sixth Form
- 33% of students progressed into Further Education/college

2022 Year 13 (KS5) Exam Results
- 15% of all grades at A*
- 50% of students gaining at least one grade A or A*
- 66% A*-B grades
- 85% A*-C grades

- 27.3% of grades at AAB or higher including at least two facilitating subjects – National average 16.5%
- Progress in Chemistry, Computer Science, Drama, English Language, Geography, History, Maths, Physics and Sociology are in the top 10-20% nationally
- Over half of all maths, chemistry and drama were grade A* or A
- Over half of art, biology, English language, geography, media, physics, psychology and sociology grades were B or above
- The pass rate at A level is 99.6%
2022 Year 13 (KS5) Student Destinations
- 100% of students achieved their choice of University, with 95% of students achieving their first choice (National average = 66%)
- 34% of students have achieved a place at a Russell Group University (National average = 12%)
- 100% of offer holders achieved entry into medicine, veterinary medicine and Oxbridge
- 66% of students chose to progress on to University
- 11% of students chose to progress on to an apprenticeship
- 12% of students chose to progress into employment
- 7% of students chose to pursue a gap year students chose to progress on to University
- 1% of students chose to enter further education
- Our Sixth Form retention is 99%
