Cerebra is currently working with the Family Research Group at the University of Warwick on a study focusing on Support in the Early Years for families of young children with developmental delay, learning disability, autism or other developmental needs.

They are inviting parental caregivers living in the UK who have a child aged 0-6 years old (from birth until the day before their 7th birthday) with a diagnosed or suspected developmental delay, learning disability and/or autism to complete our brief survey.

Your child might have other conditions as well – as long as your child has a diagnosis or suspected diagnosis of a learning disability (sometimes referred to as intellectual disability, developmental delay or special educational needs) and/or autism and lives in the UK.

The survey questions focus on families’ experiences of access to support services and things that make it easy or difficult to access support. The survey is anonymous, you will not be identifiable from the information you share on the survey.

The information families share in the survey study will further our understanding of what support families access in the early years, what may prevent them from accessing services, and what could help to improve access to early years support. The results will be used to help develop ways to increase access to early intervention and support for families of children with learning disabilities and/or autism in the UK.

The survey can be completed online, or you can request a paper copy in the post by emailing: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
